BOSOR5 will analyze segmented, branched shells of revolution made of elastic-plastic and creeping material.
The loading must be axisymmetric. There is no branch for vibration analysis.
You cannot analyze true prismatic thin-walled structures with BOSOR5.
For these reasons BOSOR5 does not supersede BOSOR4/BIGBOSOR4.
With BOSOR5 you can simulate cold rolling with springback and then welding rings to a shell.
