This is Fig. 5 from the 2013 GENOPT paper1. Shown here is a plan view of the optimized design of the AFT set of struts. Compare with the starting configuration shown in Fig. 2. This optimum design was found with use of the “temporary” (varying density) versions of bosdec (bosdec.density.var) and addbosor4 (addbosor4.density.var).
