Habilitation Thesis: On the modeling of the mechanical behavior of thin structures for the prediction of various instability phenomena – Applications to a wide range of materials (Contribution à la modélisation du comportement mécanique de structures minces pour la prédiction de divers types d'instabilité – Applications multi-matériaux).

2001 Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering, Ecole Centrale de Nantes, France

Ph. D. Thesis: On the modelling of buckling and post-buckling phenomena of elastoplastic structures (Contribution à la modélisation du flambement et du post-flambement des structures élastoplastiques).

1997 Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Ecole Centrale de Nantes, France

1997 Engineering degree in Structural Mechanics, Ecole Centrale de Nantes, France

Research Interests

• Structural mechanics: elastic/plastic local/global buckling and post-buckling of beams, plates and shells, homogenization, composite materials.
• Finite plasticity: necking, ratcheting, semi-crystalline polymers.
• Analytical and numerical methods in non-linear mechanics (finite element method, arc-length and branch-switching techniques).
