Autobiography:
Graduated in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (1981), master's degree in aeronautical engineering from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (1984) and a PhD in Structural Mechanics at Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine - University of London (1992). He is currently associate professor in the Technological Institute of Aeronautics, where he served as Coordinator of the Graduate Course in Aeronautical Infrastructure Engineering (1994-1995), Chief of the Division of Infrastructure Aeronautical Engineering (1996-2002) and Coordinator of Graduate in Aeronautical Infrastructure Engineering (2003-2005) and Civil-Aeronautical Engineering (from 2009).
