Starting and optimized designs of a laminated composite ring and stringer stiffened cylindrical shell under combined loads, Nx and Nxy

This is Table 8 from the 2002 stagsunit paper. This table lists the starting design and optimum designs of perfect and imperfect ring and stringer-stiffened composite cylindrical shells obtained via PANDA2.

The shell is optimized in the presence of two load cases:

Case 1: axial compression, Nx=-700 lb/in, in-plane shear, Nxy=+40 lb/in.

Case 2: axial compression, Nx=-100 lb/in, in-plane shear, Nxy=+150 lb/in
