Buckled axially compressed isogrid-stiffened, Lexan cylindrical shell

From the same paper as the previous 3 images.

Buckling of internally isogrid-stiffened axially compressed Lexan cylindrical shell. The isogrid spacing is much smaller than that displayed in the previous slide. The buckling half-wavelength is significantly longer relative to the isogrid stiffener spacing than that for the buckling pattern shown in the previous slide. This is definitely a general buckling pattern.
