Attività di ricerca nell’ambito della Meccanica Computazionale orientata allo studio del comportamento nonlineare di strutture elastiche snelle, con particolare riguardo a: strategie di analisi perturbative; strategie di analisi evolutive; metodi numerici per elementi finiti; modelli continui e modelli discreti per travi e telai; modelli continui e modelli discreti per piastre e strutture in parete sottile; modelli monodimensionali per l’analisi di instabilità di appoggi elastomerici armati
