Rankin and Eduard Riks, AIAA 38th Structures, Structural Dynamics and Materials Conference, AIAA Paper 97-1141, 1997, referred to as "1997 modejump paper" in the next several slides.

In PANDA2 there is a "mode-jumping" constraint condition described in the 1997 modejump paper. If this "mode-jumping switch" is turned on by the PANDA2 user, then mode jumping should not occur at loads below the design load in the configuration optimized by PANDA2.
