This view shows the buckling nodal lines, which are at an angle with respect to the axial coordinate direction because there is significant applied in-plane shear loading, Nxy, present. An axial length corresponding to one full axial wavelength of the post-buckling pattern is included in this view. This is Fig. 21 of the 1993 PANDA2 paper.
