This is Fig. 34 from the 1974 BOSOR4 paper. This slide shows buckling modes of axially compressed, semi-sandwich, bonded (left) and riveted (right) corrugated panels modeled as prismatic shells with BOSOR4 or BIGBOSOR4.
(Note: in this early example the "huge torus" model was used because the true prismatic model, incorporated into BIGBSOSOR4 in 2010, did not yet exist.)
In this slide L is the axial half-wavelength of the buckling mode, and N is defined in the figure.
