The struts are not shown because BIGBOSOR4 cannot plot springs. Compare with the predictions from STAGS shown in Figs. 25a,b. Shown here are three vibration modes in which the propellant tank undergoes shell deformation, mainly in the cylindrical part of the tank. The struts do not undergo much extension or compression as the propellant tank vibrates in these shell deformation modes.
