This slide show has two main parts:
PART 1. The next 19 slides give general information about GENOPT.
PART 2. The remaining slides are about the application of GENOPT in several cases.
Most of this second batch of slides are from applications of GENOPT in which GENOPT is used in connection with BIGBOSOR4, a computer program for the analysis of shells of revolution and prismatic shells.
BIGBOSOR4 is an updated version of BOSOR4. It is called BIGBOSOR4 because it can handle many more shell segments than BOSOR4.
