The purpose of this slide show is to convey to the viewer a reasonably complete picture of the capability of PANDA2 and the various models used in PANDA2.
Therefore, some of the slides presented here are from papers that are more recent than the time interval 1987-1995. This is done in order to describe completely the main characteristics of PANDA2 as it presently exists, not as it existed in 1995.
This slide shows Fig. 1 from the paper, "Theoretical basis of the PANDA computer program for preliminary design of stiffened panels under combined in-plane loads" by David Bushnell, Computers & Structures, Vol. 27, No. 4, pp. 541-563, 1987, called "1987 PANDA paper" in the next several slides. (PANDA was the predecessor of PANDA2.)
