There are only three additional design margins for the axially compressed, internally stiffened cylindrical shell with T-stiffened weld lands spaced at 120 degrees.
The design of the "acreage" remote from the weld lands was obtained previously by PANDA2. (See the previous slide). This "acreage" design is not altered during the second phase in which GENOPT is used to obtain the optimum design of each of the three identical axially oriented weld lands and its associated pair of T-shaped internal stringers.
"GENBUK" means "general buckling"; "PANBUK" means "panel buckling" = inter-ring buckling. The names ending in "A" are allowables; the names ending in "F" are factors of safety.
